Import-impacted manufacturers can receive matching funds for projects that strengthen operations and sharpen competitiveness through Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAA). Learn more about the organizations that oversee this federal assistance program.

We are a network of eleven regional, non-profit organizations that manage the TAA program. Known as Trade Adjustment Assistance Centers (TAACs), we are funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Our staff of experienced business professionals has worked with thousands of manufacturers since the program's inception in 1974.

"I was pleasantly surprised to find a core of experienced business advisors rather than academics or government bureaucrats."

E.A. Bourque, Past President
Lasertechnics Marking Corp.
Albuquerque, NM

Our primary role is to be an advocate for interested firms. We simplify a firm's participation in the program by preparing the application and guiding a firm through each phase of the program. We are also available for presentations to trade associations, economic development groups, consulting firms, banks and other groups that work closely with manufacturers, for the purpose of having these groups better understand this unique federal assistance program.

For some of our clients, the road to improved competitiveness means revamping marketing. Others may need to address weaknesses in manufacturing, engineering, information technology, or quality. Contact us to discuss how your firm, or one you know, can use TAA.
